Interface Contract Management
ICM Ltd was founded in 1998 by Steve Lewis. Following a number of years in Retail Development with the “flat pack” furniture giant MFI, Steve had responsibility for procuring shop fitting services on behalf of MFI during their rapid expansion phase.
The philosophy of the business is simple, we wish to offer the highest standards of customer service, with the minimum disruption or inconvenience to our client.
Of the utmost importance to ICM is the desire to ensure that our clients are delighted with the services that we offer. It is because we regularly exceed their expectations that a large proportion of our projects come from repeat business.
The key to the development of the business has been diversity, we are client driven and have added to our skill base to accommodate the requirements of our customer. For instance we have recently employed a team of highly skilled electrical contractors.
We have made significant investment in shop fitting technology and resources.
Earlier this year we opened a purpose built joinery workshop which allows us to control costs and maintain the highest manufacturing standards. We believe strongly in the benefits of using the finest quality materials from sustainable or managed sources.
Our customers have recognised our abilities for problem solving, and have come to regard us as an intrinsic part of their business.
Turnover was in excess of £4 million last year and it is expected that those results will be increased again at the end of this current financial year.
This has occurred during a time when many of our competitors have either had to downsize their operations or have ceased trading altogether.
We have recently become accredited members of “constructionline” and “SAFEcontractor”. We have also been awarded ISO 9001 and are NICEIC recognised.
